Details:
November started off with a very bright sunset behind a gap on top of some hills behind Chikanga township. Two days after a cool rainy spell there was no heat or smoke haze to filter the light from the Sun which shone brightly all the way down to the horizon and illuminated feathery plumes of cloud above (last picture). The first mosaic consists of 32 selected thumbnail images from a time-lapse sequence of 69 close-ups taken over a period of three minutes while the sun was setting. The second mosaic presents four closer views of the sun going down behind some wisps cloud in the hilltop gap. The camera used was a tripod mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset scene mode with up to x60 zoom magnification.
