Details:
The auroras keep coming! For the fifth night in a row our aurora tour group was treated to a fine display of Northern Lights over Norway. Tonight, October 26, we were at the top of Norway and at the top of the European continent, in the Barents Sea at a latitude of 70° North. The Lights appeared to the north placing the main auroral oval very far north indeed. The view in these images, taken from the forward deck of the Hurtigruten ferry and cruise ship the m/s Nordlys, is looking north toward the grand sweep of the auroral oval.
