Very scarce display of Orionid meteors this year... But Orion is Orion! Wide angle: Nikon D600 NIkkor AI 28mm f/2 @f/4 (35 yr. old lens) 4x60s + 2x120s ISO 3200 Close up: Nikon D600 full spectrum Nikkor AI 50mm f/1,2 @f/2,8 (40 yr. old lens) 4x60s ISO 3200. Very heavy light pollution from suburban sky at Pico Sacro, near Santiago de Compostela

You must have been unlucky with the maximum, because there were a huge amount of Orionids the days before it. I had a complete cloudcover for the weekend so I could not observe the shower peak nights but before and after that the shower was very good with really big amount of less bright, and several bright meteors. Light pollution might have faded the faint ones at your place... :(

Indeed, Monica. Bad luck with weather on peak night, and also a day after when the sky cleared. It would be nice to catch a late Orionid on frame despite the intense light pollution, but...
