Details:
The animation and photos (taken with a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX300 camera) show what today`s sunset was like as seen from a small town 80 km East of the center of Rio de Janeiro. At 18:50-18:56 (UTC-2h), as the spring sun was setting and becoming more and more flattened due to severe refraction, it acted as a screen that highlighted the contours of distant hills along the coastline in the background.
