End of the storm? 5th night in a row of superb auroras in Abisko. Now in my 4th year of aurora guiding and it's been far my best week. Since the earth has been in the solar wind stream from the coronal hole the night time auroras have been amazing. The 1st night was great and the last 4 have been truly stunning. I've been running a Lights Over Lapland tour for the last 4 nights and those guests have had multiple coronas every night. Tonight as soon as the sun was down and before it was dark the aurora was showing well. This shot was later in the night with very strong greens and some purple showing. After about 10pm the aurora died down so maybe that's the end of the storm?
