Details:
Now in its fourth day, the geomagnetic unrest that began on October 11th continues to show its presence, as evidenced by the 'twitching of needles' on magnetometers around the globe. It is remarkable that this continues to rumble on, although there are signs that the storm could have peaked, but could be with us for a little while yet with wind speeds remaining in excess of 600 km/s and showing no signs of abating just yet.
