Details:
Venus and Mars were photographed among the stars of Leo on the morning of October 4, 2017. This morning, the pair was about 0.9 degrees apart. Light fog added a soft layer of diffusion to the overall scene. The image was taken with a Canon 70D and a Canon 200 mm f/2.8L II lens (F/3.5, ISO 800, 6 sec) Tomorrow, the pair will be 0.25 degrees apart, unfortunately, overcast skies are in the forecast :(
