Details:
I photographed the mirage while walking along a beach at 'Cley next the Sea' in North Norfolk in the UK. I was supposed to be bird watching but was stunned to see such an amazingly clear mirage as I headed along the stony beach. I photographed the mirage for over 20 minutes between 12:54 - 13:10UT with a Canon 1100D (Rebel T3) and a 55 - 250mm lens. It looks like the water is above the beach giving the impression of a tidal wave and in some images people seem to be floating but they are actually below the horizon from my point of view. It was pretty amazing to see such a clear and long lasting mirage.
