Details:
The second part of the observation night 19-20.09.2017 delivered even more beautiful displays than the first part. The battle with the clouds could be described with: Keep an eye on the sky, but also keep patient. It paid off to stay on the same place and just wait. Tremendously slow the clouds drifted towards my observation point. It took almost 1 hour until the clouds free area reached my place. It was very nice to make nature paintings within 30 seconds by just pressing the shutter release. Fast moving pulsating auroras with purple accents ended the show.
