Details:
I was on holiday from the UK and I timed it so I would be in the US during the eclipse, this was my first total solar eclipse as my first attempt was back home in 1999 and it was completely cloudy where we were. This time there was not a cloud in the sky and it was a truly amazing experience. I witnessed it with my friend who lives near Denver, Colorado, we drove up into Wyoming and found a spot north of Torrington very close to the exact centre of the path of totality. Even before totality the sun was very interesting to observe with some prominent sunspots.
I am quite pleased with how my photos came out, considering they are my first attempt at taking photos of a total solar eclipse.
