Details:
It's difficult even to start describing what happened tonight. At first we had a very good show which faded away at some point. At 1.30am I decided to call it a night and walked back to the car. There I checked the data and it said the CME of the X-flare arrived. So I drove to another spot and around 2am Finnish time, all hell broke loose. So to speak. Auroras everywhere, Corona after corona, curtains, arcs, green lots of green. One of the most memorable night. I can't remember the last time I ran around like a headless chicken. After a while the purple got stronger and it ruled the rest of the night. Just incredible getting this with all the autumn colors.
