A side-by-side comparison of a clear day (left) and a wildfire smoke hazy day (right). Neither of these images were color processed. Also, note the difference in the size of 2673 in just 4 days....!!!!!! On the 2nd, it was a very quiet region....but, in the past 2 days, it has erupted with several M-class (moderate) solar flares and a very strong X-class (Extereme) flare today!!!!!
