Details:
After sifting through a few dozen images taken during totality, I finally settled on 5 bracketed photographs that I could use to create a single HDR (High Dynamic Range) image. Not only is the bright star Regulus visible to the left of the Sun, but there was enough data in the 'overexposed' image to be able to tease out some details on the surface of the Moon!
