Details:
This was an awesome event that is beyond description, the changing light the glow of the sunset on the horizon, the city lights behind us turning on in the valley below. Crickets and birds stopped clicking and singing. Animals were confused and nervous. a light breeze picked up. Totality enveloping the last sliver of the sun in a burst of bailey's beads, then the corona became visible around the black hole in the sky where the sun was. The umbra was like a curtain of filaments moving like sheets around in 3 main areas of the sun. once it moved past, the diamond came out and light began to return to normal. It took about a half hour before all the birds and crickets began singing again. This was amazing and an experience of a lifetime.
