Details:
During the eclipse a person on the moon would see a full earth with a small black dot crossing it. This earthshine is what is faintly lighting up the moon. A comparison moon image shows the features that are faintly visible. Canon DSLR t2,80 mm f/7 refractor,1 sec exposures
