Details:
We had a great private site on a farm of generous landowner who let our small group set up near the center line. No crowds just the 30 or so of us as far as we could see. A slight haze from dust and fires in Idaho but the sky was very good without a cloud in the sky. From our position we could see beyond the shadow and saw distant land still in light while we were in totality. These photos were captured with a Vixen VSD astrograph and a Nikon D500 camera mounted on an iOptron motor mount. The D500 with its large buffer and 10 fps allowed for more than 200 photos during totality so lots to process in the weeks ahead.
