Details:
This composite originated 12 years ago when I was relatively new to planetary imaging. It was intended to show the illusion of two very different celestial objects appearing to be the same size in the sky. I liked it then as well as now, and the coming eclipse makes it worth revisiting. Date is for the solar image in this composite.
