Complimenting the cosmic ray data from the Earth to Sky Calculus team, Spaceweather.com and the Bartol Research Institute, geomagnetic data collected over the same period (11th-20th July) clearly show the inverse relationship between cosmic ray count and geomagnetic activity. The sharp decrease in X-rays and Gamma rays shown in the Bartol data (Spaceweather.com) correlates very well with the sudden increase in geomagnetic activity as a result of a passing CME.
