While sleeping, my Nikon d7000, Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 set at iso 1100, 20 sec first spotted the aurora around 2:10AM MDT but it briefly flared-up for about 15 minutes starting around 2:50AM. This clip (link above) is from about 2:40AM to 3:05AM lookung north. Moonlight lightened the foreground.
