I've tried with varying success to capture the play between the Moon and clouds for several years. Today I sat on the terrace and the kept looking to the western sky. The moon emerged from behind the trees. I followed its rise and approaching cirrus-clouds from the southwest. After about an hour I noticed that there is a very photographic, wavey cloud formation coming towards the moon. I picked up my camera. The clouds covered the Moon. I lifted my eyes to the camera and waited. Within a less than a minute the Moon appeared behind the clouds. Or it just seemed to have sailed in their midst. I took photos of this interaction of celestial bodies and I was secretly excited; The combination looked very good. Bachs Air started to play in my mind After a couple of minutes, the situation was over. In the evening I opened the pictures and they were promising. One of them was particularly impressive. I polished the picture for a minute and.. I'm more than happy.
