Details:
All images were taken with a Nikon Coolpix P600. The first two images were derived from video using VLC media player. The first was made with the gradient and motion blur functions, and also flipped vertically and cropped. The second is a basic snapshot. The third image was cropped from a 2sec exposure (f5.5, ISO-800, 300mm) and shows how clouds nearly scrubbed the sighting. The brighter of Jupiter's moons is Ganymede, the other Callisto. Io and Europa were in transit.
