Details:
Visiting Banff, I got the email alert so decide to go out and take a peek. I went out around midnight - hung around for a few hours. It continued for the whole time I was outside - and peaked with huge bands dancing in the sky for quite a long time. In fact, they were so bright, the completely lit the whole landscape. Hopefully, they will still be visible tonight for another go-around with my camera.
