Details:
Alerted to possible aurora, I set my cameras north only to find that in deep twilight, the aurora was strong in the west-northwest as a stationary ray. Over the course of the next 100 minutes I took a time lapse with my Nikon d7000, Nikkor 35mm f/1.4 @ f/2.8, iso 800, and exposure of 10 secs. The video clip of this very interesting display can be seen at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/79387036@N07/34550841520/in/photostream/ Times are 9:58, 10PM, 10:01PM, 10:39PM
