Space artist Merry Edenton-Wooten's artwork has appeared here, and as the Executive Secretary of the Astronomical League, she promoted amateur astronomy to women and families, stressing the importance of getting children involved in astronomy. Here she salutes the ISS pass over Pensacola Thursday evening at 8:13 PM, with a special shout out to Commander Peggy Whitson and her recent records in space exploration.
