Details:
Pollen coronas are seen in the Netherlands every year in springtime. But as bright as this year is not so common. The bright rings around the sun appeared on May 15th and some days after. The sun is hidden behind the lantern head, and is indicated by the circle. With some rain showers the day after, huge numbers of pollen came down on the ground and performed light green edges around rain pools on the street. By microscope the pollen were identified as being of pine tree origin. The microscope image has a diameter of 2,0 millimeters.
