Details:
Tonite (16 May 2017 about 20h UT) I tried some imaging on Jupiter and noticed a dark spot. First guess was 'oh, the GRS is visible', but according to my favourite software Guide 9 it was not. Nor a shadow of Jupiter's moons. So is that dark spot something unusual or just a feature of Jupiter's always changing atmosphere?
For the second image I used an infrared filter (685 nm) that usually would have shown that GRS as a bright spot, but it's still dark.
