A beautiful view ! The picture joined is a big work of reconstruction ! How it was done : - a color picture (but of course low resolution) of the conjunction was made with a Fuji Finepix HS10 and loaded in PSP. Detailled pictures of the Moon & Jupiter (+ satellites) were done at the main focus of a Super Polaris fluorite refractor FL-102S using an ASI 174MM ZWO camera. The HS10 image was redimensionned (enlarged) many times until the Moon size in it matched exactly the one of the Moon with the ASI camera. The BW image of the Moon was then placed as a layer above the color one respecting orientations. Then the same was done with Jupiter and satellites. After looking at the whole scene (naked eye vue), please zoom to 100 % to see all the détails ! Visible Jupiter's satellites at time of capture are labeled ...
