Psst. Irregardless of the above...
As you can (sideways) see, this is a probable ETA AQUARID (ALL CAPS: optional ;). Tis the season/correct time of year, and both NASA's All Sky Fireball Network and CMOR (Canadian Meteor Orbit Radar) have been indicating increased activity. I was shooting with 6400 BW at approx. 13° N, the target entering the frame from the NE. The camera used has limitations (and is additionaly both partially broken and cursed -- my "Cursed Fuji" ;), and doesn't seem to convey the event's magnitude very well ("the human eye is easily fooled," and so too, perhaps, the lens of my crazy companion). In terms of shooting meteors via stills, this has tested as my best option. But when I'm on good terms with my Canon, well..... ;-}
