Details:
We had very dense fog in Radebeul tonight, no visual observations of the Eta aquarids were possible. But via radio astronomy over the Graves radar in France on 143.050 MHz. Very powerful echoes and very much stronger after midnight. The Doppler effect was very good to hear. Very interesting was, that the moon stood in the right direction and elevation and we could receive the reflected signal also from the moon. EME (moon bounce)… Details: 9-elements-long-yagi with 13.4 dBi, FunCube Dongle Pro+
