Details:
Just 17° from the sun, near its greatest eastern elongation for this spring, I had some time in the afternoon of March 26 to take video shots of Mercury through Infrared (685nm and 850nm), green and blue filters. It was the first time I've tried imaging Mercury with IR filters, and I was amazed to get quite a few surface features, which include some of Mercury's large and bright impact craters.
