Details:
Following Venus over the last several weeks in the daylight with binoculars, I couldn't find it with a little less than 17 hours to go till conjunction. I turned to my 10" F9.6 homemade reflector anyway and got lucky - Centered with a low power eyepiece. I then captured multiple images with a camcorder, froze the drifting image and stacked the best images. All actions were taken safely in the shadow of my house.
