Details:
It was such a surprise to see this gorgeous rainbow appear suddenly in the eastern sky very late in the afternoon, as the surrounding sky was quite clear and there was no sign of any rain. The rainbow was very colourful and displayed a faint second band of colours just inside the primary rainbow; it was then that I realized I might be seeing a supernumerary rainbow, which was very exciting :-) I only had my point and shoot Canon G15 camera with me so it was a bit hard to focus, but I did manage to capture some images of the brilliant colours displayed. The exposure time was 1/640th of a second and ISO 80 on manual focus.
