Details:
Despite the mostly poor seeing, I have imaged the thin crescent of Venus (March 22 2017). With a small telescope I use (Mak Cassegrain 18cm)Venus displays the small phase at -3 days from the inferior conjunction. In conclusion also a small/moderate telescope diameter may be used for a survey. The cusps are detectable but likely we are not able to image them encircling the disk for the current conjunction. As final note i am satisfed of the result obtained.
