My 2017 aurora tour group arrived in Fairbanks on March 16. After one night of no auroras, the lights began to appear the following night and increased in intensity each night.
While some of our aurora chasers retired too early in the evenings, a few of us die-hards got to see and photograph this particular show through some high clouds.
This image is processed on a non-calibrated monitor, so colors may not be precise.
