Tonight marked, day for day, the 5th year since I first saw the Aurora. What a show she gave me to celebrate our anniversary! Out of nowhere (except a negative Bz for a prolonged time), the sky completely exploded in fast moving green, and then pink and purple. There was so much movement, so much speed, that it was hard to keep up! After chasing Aurora for 5 years now, this is certainly the most colorful display that I have ever seen. At some point, which I did not manage to capture, it even looked somehow orange! Tomorrow morning I fly back home, after spending 6 unforgettable nights up here in Finnish Lapland: 6 nights with crazy Auroras, thanks to this solar wind that never wanted to stop!
