Details:
Driving due north 200km from Montreal into the Laurentian Mountains, revealed this amazing scene near Riviére Rouge, of green auroras snaking low across the horizon, and reddish skies laced with vertical bi-colour pillars and sprites at the peak of the solar wind stream at 2:13am Friday March 3, 2017. I managed just 20 photos before my camera locked up and two batteries died in the windy -25C temp. Nikon D700, Nikkor 24-70 at 24mm, 25sec @ f/2.8 ISO 3200 WB daylight.
