Details:
The anticipated solar wind from a large coronal hole has arrived, sparking a G1 solar storm and moving magnetometer needles around the globe. My electronic magnetometer located in the UK detected the storm as it passed through. Although quieter now, there may be more to come as Earth continues to move through the solar wind stream.
