Details:
This is a picture taken today, February22 2017, with a Day Star Quark H-alpha filter - Chromosphere model. I used a Sky Watcher ED 120 telescope and a FLIR USB3 Grasshopper mono camera at 1/160 seconds exposure for each frame. The wavelength of H-alpha frequency is of 6562,81 Angstroms , being included by the visible red part of the electromagnetic spectrum. The used filter has a pass-band which select the width of the band, which is o.5 Angstroms for this type of filter. This width of band is suitable for the Chromosphere details, revealing all types of elements which can appear on the disk: filaments, spots, flares or pladges.
