Details:
Sometimes it pays off to look around you during an auroral storm. Orion was riding low in the southern sky as seen from Tromsø, Norway, more than 200 miles north of the arctic circle. I noticed that the snow on the mountains reflected the light from the brilliant aurorae in the north!
