Details:
The Moon didn't clear the ridge on the horizon until almost a hour after mid eclipse so just a piece of it was visible in Tucson AZ. This image is a single shot with a 300 mm lens F4 lens, 1.7X teleconverter, and a Nikon D800 set to DX for 750 mm equivalent but full sensor sensitivity imaging. The image was processed by Photoshop.
