Details:
Lunar penumbral eclipse are very subtle, the best details show only on photographs. It was a lucky shot in the usually cloudy southeast Brazilian summer. Low clouds kept passing in front of the moon all night long so patience was the key. I used a Canon T2i camera and a 250mm lens stopped at f/7, exposure time 1/320s and ISO 100 in a fixed tripod. This is a direct crop from the original file with no imaging processing.
