Details:
On 01 February the setting Sun and waxing crescent Moon were simultaneously visible in the Mutare evening sky (first image). After the sun had set the crescent Moon and Venus shone through some sunset illuminated cloud above Christmas Pass (second image). The third photograph is a close-up of the Moon behind this cloud when reflection was brightest. The final composite shows the crescent Moon in nine shades of changing sunset sky. The photographs were taken from just before to twenty minutes after sundown using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 camera in sunset scenery mode.
