Details:

Iridium flares are common but a double flare, just 40sec apart is not. This is the case in the following photo, which is a double exposure on a tripod, each photo is 15 seconds. The bright star at the upper right coner is Capella

Nice photo!
Ive taken double Iridium flare, too. In my case the double flare was with 14 sec apart, where the brighter Iridium 6 was followed by the second Iridium 51, and the second one started flaring before the first one disappeared so I was able to see two flares at the same time.
