Details:
The auroras were great, nothing bright enough to record in real time, but a good show that night. The moon wasn't present, but as I was packing it for the night, due to a few hours of subzero wind-chill, it looked like there was a rainbow in the sky. It sat like a rainbow and didn't move like auroras. I'm trying to find an explanation as to what it is I saw.
