Details:
I was pointing my camera in the direction of the celestial south pole to create rainbow shaped star trails. After stacking the 100 images in photoshop I noticed the yellow colored meteor. My camera has captured meteors transitioning from red to yellow and yellow to green but never all yellow. This photo was taken at 11:54pm local time so the Sun was way too low in the horizon for this to be an object reflecting off of it. I used a full spectrum Canon T3 camera with an 18mm lens set to F/3.5 for 8 seconds at iso 6400.

I contacted Dave Meisel about the yellow meteor and he says that the yellow color in my meteor means there was a high percentage of sodium in the meteor. It is very noticeable in my photo because I captured it in the horizon where the blue light gets scattered and therefore brings out the yellow.

The Draconid meteor shower produces many yellow meteors but they are often faint so it is very hard to notice its color.
