On New Year's Eve (31.12.2016) I celebrated with a friend the new year in my weekend house - above my home town Freital in Saxony… With barbecue, heat from the fireplace in my house…Outside was a fantastic weather situation: an inversion with a sharp boundary. Below -5 degrees Celsius, above +6 degrees Celsius with clear air. Very rarely I have seen such an inversion like from the textbook. I am also radio amateur - on VHF (144 MHz in USB) very nice tropospheric propagations… nice atmospheric optic ;-)
