Details:
Mars is visible above Venus. Blue Neptune of the 8 th is shining right next to this red Mars.
The apparent angle of separation of the two at the time of closest approach is only 1' 30".
The field of view is 1 degree square and the angle of separation at this time is about 4'.
The red color of Mars is due to the blue color absorption by the iron oxide,
Neptune's blue color is due to the absorption of the red color by the atmospheric methane.
