Details:
In daytime higher temperatures climbing up above zero and at the same time blizzards. So the weather was not looking very promising, while the aurora forecast was quite positive.
Anyway we started the tour and after half an hour a starry sky with some green. Little by little growing to a nice arc and later also more active with rays, a spiral, curtain and also several colours. Around midnight auroras became very bright!
Probably the last visible auroras of 2016 as we expect cloudy weather during the year shift; Happy New Year from Salla In the Middle of Nowhere! And of course: Keep an eye on the sky!
