CHRISTMAS Auroral Chorus in TEXAS!!
Earth's magnetic field must be rippling with energy from the latest stream of solar wind! I'm pickingup auroral chorus WAY down here in Texas! This happened a while back when earth was in the middle of a magnetic storm. It's extreamly rare to pick up this kind of natural radio this far south! All we usually have are the crackle of sferics, chirps of nighttime "tweaks" and the occasional "whistler!" FUN TIMES!!!
