Could this be Odd Radius Halos from pyramidal crystals or lens flare?
Thought I'd share these photos here to see if someone can help answer this. I'm thinking it's probably lens flare. All I saw when I was out there was the one halo, sundogs and upper arc. I've only had this Tokina lens for a few months and rarely go to aperture f/22. Either way, I think it made for an interesting photo.
Temperature was -21C/-27C wind chill.
1st photo shows multiple halos all the way to top corners (aperture f/22).
2nd photo was a minute before, shows the one halo, sundog and upper arc that I could see and no "odd radius halos" (aperture f/11).
3rd photo was about 30 minutes later, same aperture as #1 but no "odd radius halos".
All 3 photos were taken with a Canon 70D, Tokina 11-16mm lens set 11mm.
